Details on the second floor.

The third floor went through a less drastic renovation, with most work focusing on the resident rooms. New furniture was purchased for the dining space, and a few soft-seating pieces were purchased to create this small sitting space for residents and guests alike.

St. Paul's Senior Living Renovation
As part of ongoing renovation to the St. Paul's Senior Living Facility (a part of Trinity Health Network), I was asked to help with design changes to a two-story wing of the facility. Previously used for rehabilitation, the area was set to have a focus in memory care.
Using the input of facility staff and past experience with senior living and memory care design, I created a calming palette that was inspired by ideas of nature, water, and Japanese koi ponds. While the majority of the space used calming greens and blues, the dining area infused coral tones to help stimulate appetite.
Design roles included selection of materials, oversite and review of construction drawings, oversite and on-site discussion and adjustments during construction, and selection, purchasing, and installation of furniture, art, and accessories.
